Urban Carers provides supported accommodation for adults aged 18+ who are able to live independently with low-level, non-regulated, housing-related support.
Who We Support
Urban Carers supports adults aged 18 and over who require a stable living environment alongside structured, housing-related support. We work with individuals who are able to manage their own personal care and engage with support on a voluntary basis.
Typical Referral Profiles
- Care-experienced adults aged 18+
- Unaccompanied asylum-seeking young adults (18+)
- Adults requiring supported accommodation as part of a planned move-on
- Adults requiring low-level housing-related support
Suitability Criteria
- Aged 18 or over
- Able to live independently within shared accommodation
- Does not require personal, medical or therapeutic care
- Willing to engage with housing-related support
Who We Are Not Able to Support
- Anyone under the age of 18
- Individuals requiring personal or intimate care
- Individuals requiring medical, nursing or clinical support
- Individuals requiring therapy or counselling
- Individuals whose needs exceed non-regulated provision
