Supported Accommodation

Urban Carers provides supported accommodation for adults aged 18+ who require a safe, stable living environment alongside non-regulated, housing-related support.

Accommodation is provided within shared residential properties, with residents supported to develop practical life skills and maintain their tenancy in preparation for greater independence.

Our service is non-regulated and delivered in line with clear service boundaries and our Statement of Purpose.

What’s included in our accommodation?

Housing-related support is delivered through planned key-working sessions focused on tenancy sustainment, budgeting, daily living skills and engagement with education, training or employment.

Support is provided at an agreed level appropriate to the service user and does not include personal, medical or therapeutic care.

What We Do Not Provide

Urban Carers does not provide:

    •    Personal or intimate care

    •    Medical, nursing or clinical services

    •    Therapy or counselling

    •    Support to anyone under the age of 18

Supported Accommodation Referrals

Urban Carers works with local authorities and approved partner agencies to provide supported accommodation for adults aged 18+.

All placements are accepted via referral and assessed for suitability prior to acceptance.
